Threadline

Privacy Policy

Last updated 20 June 2026

The short version: Threadline is a puzzle game with no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. It doesn't collect or transmit any personal data — everything you do in the game stays on your device.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the Threadline app for iOS (the “App”), published by Alexander Macfarlane (“we,” “us”). It explains what the App does and doesn't do with your information.

What we collect

Nothing. Threadline has no user accounts and no servers of its own. We do not collect, see, or store your name, email, location, contacts, device identifiers, or any other personal information.

What stays on your device

The App saves your game data — such as puzzle progress, statistics, streaks, and settings — locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. This information never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you delete the App.

Purchases

Threadline offers an optional in-app purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using Apple's StoreKit. We never see or receive your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

No tracking or third parties

The App contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, no social media trackers, and no third-party data collection. We do not use cookies, do not profile you, and have no data to sell or share — because we don't collect any.

Children

Threadline is safe for all ages. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

If the App ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, we'll update this page and revise the date above. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
